BREAKING NEWS: Facebook and WhatsApp crashes for its users this morning in the United Kingdom (UK). This still remains uncertain

One of the two top mostly widely used applications in the world, Facebook and WhatsApp crashes this morning for some of its users in the UK.

This problem started this morning around the early hours of 10:30am BST, and it is currently affecting users who are resident in the UK and other parts of Europe, according to DownDetector (which gives a real-time overview of issues and outages with all kinds of services).

Now, it is still unclear as to why this is happening in the first place. About 64% of some users who reported this issue claim it was because of connection failure, some 33% of them mentioned that they were not receiving messages at all.

Moreover, we all know that Facebook is the owner of WhatsApp and this problem seems to not only affect its WhatsApp users but also its Facebook app users.

Facebook’s Developers website shows that there is currently a major interruption of service for developers across the United Kingdom.

We are still to receive comments from WhatsApp and Facebook as to this major interruption of service. This has frustrated many of its users and caused them to take their reactions to their Twitter pages.

A comment came from one of their application users who says: “WhatsApp is always down when I need it most,” and another user added saying: “WhatsApp is down again!“
